To ensure your event is a success, follow these simple requests.
Table, Chairs, sound and Light
A 4' or 6' table is required per entertainer. Or one 8' table for two painters. We need a place to set our paints, bling and tattoos. We do travel as light as we can, but once we open our cases–we spread out with a colorful rainbow of paints and glitters.
Also please provide two chairs without arms. Folding chairs are an option. Depending on the venue, we may or may not bring our tall directors chair. We will know more when we talk to you about your event. There is no fee for us to bring our tall directors chair.
Please do not stick your entertainment in a dark corner. We cannot see in dim light. If you plan to have ambient lighting at your event, please make sure there is some sort of light for the table top and for the "canvas" sitting in the chair.
For the love of little voices–please put us away from any DJ entertainment and speakers. The little voices from children are hard enough to hear, we would hate to disappoint because we couldn't communicate with them. And the entertainers would like to be able to hear after the event too.
Line Managment
When you hire a face painter, everyone wants to be painted. You hired the painter to paint, not to herd children, or parent children. There must be an adult at the front of the line to give the painter space to paint, keep the kids out of the paint and brushes, make sure faces are clean and to let the next child in line go next, ready with the design they want.
If you are unable to provide a line manager, then please request a line manager for an additional fee when booking your event. We will be more than happy to bring our line manager to ensure your entertainment is a success.
Shelter
Happy faces come from a happy face painter, a happy face painter needs shade and space. Proper shade for your entertainer includes a pavilion, a pop up tent–bonus points if there is a wall or two! Trees are not an option for shade.
Please be mindful of weather conditions if your event is outdoors.
If you are unable to supply shade, please request a tent during your booking. Additional fee will incur.
Bonus Points
During our most busiest of seasons, we are known to run from one gig to the next. Please offer at least water, beverage, and food to your entertainer.
